About the Job

The Territory Sales Representative manages a territory of customers predominantly in the restaurant and bar sector and are responsible for the following: growing sales and retaining existing customers by providing exceptional customer service, gaining new sales through new products and new customers, and providing customers training on food safety and sanitation through high quality surveys and audits.

What you will do:

  • Introduce BBSPro’s range of cleaning products to customers; prepare and update corresponding quotes; make recommendations and help to manage appropriate levels of inventory.
  • Installs and maintains equipment (primarily dish and glasswasher machines) to ensure operating correctly and optimally including, performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on, dish machines and dispensing equipment.
  • Train customers on safe equipment use and proper maintenance procedures.
  • Develop and enhance existing relationships with customers while working independently and maintaining your own schedule.
  • Respond to customer emergency service requests on weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • We are looking for candidates who will reside in Calgary, A.B. and who are willing to travel to surrounding areas including but not limited to Red Deer, Lethbridge, Canmore and Banff.
  • Perform other functions as necessary.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a foodservice, hospitality or grocery environment.
  • Mechanical ability (plumbing, electrical and/or mechanical experience) and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment and dispensing systems
  • Previous business to business value-add sales experience
  • You are detail oriented, able to work with little direct supervision; well organized, with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects and effectively follow through on projects.
  • Strong critical thinking, questioning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and in an environment full of deadlines, providing accurate output.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.  Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and with a variety of different customers.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of CMA, Moyer Diebel and ADS glass and dishwashers.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Overtime, occasional weekends as required.

Warewash Service Technician

Vancouver

Our Technicians serve as the face of BBSPro to customers in the Hospitality, Institutional and Industrial space. As a warewash technician, you support our overall sales efforts by providing preventive maintenance, service and repair on commercial laundry, dish machines and dispensing equipment. WareWash Installation

  • Responsible for the project management and coordination of the respective parties (Internal and External) to ensure successful installation of primarily dish and glass machines and associated ancillary equipment.
  • Follow specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings for the installation.

Repair and Preventative Maintenance

  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on commercial laundry, dish machines and dispensing equipment.
  • Assist with the introduction of new products to customers; make recommendations and help to manage appropriate levels of inventory.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by identifying and solving potential issues through suggesting, sampling and providing customer solutions.
  • Demonstrate safe equipment use and ensure that equipment is fully operational.
  • Train customers on equipment and proper maintenance procedures.
  • Respond to customer emergency service requests on weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Perform other functions as necessary.

  • Demonstrate hands-on technical ability; mechanical, electrical, plumbing troubleshooting and repair on equipment. (Min 2 years mechanical experience)
  • A working knowledge of CMA, Moyer Diebel and ADS glass and dishwashers is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a related field with transferrable skills.
  • You are detail oriented, able to work with little direct supervision; well organized, with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects and effectively follow through on projects.

Service Technician / Beverage System Installer

Vancouver

Currently, BBSPro is seeking motivated Service Technician or Beverage Systems Installers to join our team in Coquitlam, BC, working from Monday to Friday. The successful candidates will be working on-site throughout the lower mainland, with regional travel occasionally required for Installers.

 

The Installer works as a member of the field service technician team to provide full services to our customers. While no two days will be alike in this fast-paced role, your more typical responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out the installation of a long draw beer system that includes all necessary duties, from pulling trunk line to balancing the system upon completion
  • Installing short draw beer systems such as through the wall or keg box
  • Installing and servicing glycol units
  • Ensuring that all installations are managed and completed to the highest possible standards
  • Effectively managing all equipment to include care, maintenance, and inventory of assigned equipment and tools

Great tasting beer means that your favourite bar is cleaning the beer lines regularly. As a Service Technician, you’ll be learning the trade of maintaining draft equipment in bars, restaurants, and offices. You will be job shadowing for the first 4 to 8 weeks to become a Service Technician. Your duties include:

  • Performing both regular and routine maintenance and repairs on a range of draft beer systems & glasswashers where needed
  • Checking and maintaining power decks/cooling units, inspecting pump and motor conditions, and thermostat operations
  • Participating in the rotating After Hours service roster and performing after-hour service calls
  • Working with CO2, N2, Beer Gas, and air compressor systems requiring maintenance, repairs, and performing leak tests
  • Being responsible for keeping clear records of the work completed

More About You

In order to qualify for the Installer role, at least two years of previous carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, or construction experience is highly preferred.

In order to qualify for the Service Technician role, you will need basic knowledge of hand tools, and training will be provided on the job.

A valid driver’s license is required for either roles.

Role Responsibilities – all parts of your busy day:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have a background working with commercial laundry equipment with a competency working with dish machines, hand tools, electrical systems and plumbing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or in another discipline related OR trades training AND 3-5 years work experience in a Technical Sales occupation.
  • A willingness to be hands-on technically and driven to share knowledge with teammates.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment and machines. (Min 5 years mechanical experience)
  • Proficiency and the ability to read schematic drawings for efficient repair diagnostics
  • A working knowledge of Laundry Systems, and/ or CMA, Moyer Diebel and ADS glass and dishwashers is an asset
  • Understand all regulatory and safety requirements in the areas that affect operations of our mechanical warewash and on-premises laundry program.
  • Proficient using laptop and tablet technology including but not limited to Microsoft suite of products – specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge using mechanical warewash and on-premises laundry program controllers/programing.
  • Previous professional experience in a foodservice, hospitality or grocery environment is an asset
  • Previous experience implementing and training teams on standard operating procedures is required. Proven ability to develop a team for providing exceptional customer service.
