Draft Beer Service Technician (B.C) & Edmonton

Full Time

No experience necessary, we provide on-the-job training.

Great tasting beer means that your favourite bar is cleaning the beer lines regularly. As a Draft Technician, you’ll be learning the trade of maintaining draft equipment in bars, restaurants and offices. On a daily basis you’ll encounter customers that come from a variety of different backgrounds and working on a variety of different systems. Problem solving, teamwork, time management, positive attitude and effective communication are qualities that describe who you are.

 

What will you do?

  • Job shadow for the first 4 weeks to learn how to become a service technician.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on a range of draft beer systems and dishwashers
  • Check and maintain cooling decks, inspect motor and pump conditions, and thermostat operations.
  • Organize repairs when needed, keeping clear records of the work completed.
  • Perform regular maintenance and emergency calls.
  • Look for and fix gas leaks on a variety of systems.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • At least 19 years old
  • Someone who thrives on delighting customers with high quality service work
  • Have a strong commitment to safety of both yourself and our customers
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lb without assistance

Beer and Beverage Install Technician

Full Time

BBSpro Services is looking for an Installation Technician.

The Installation Technician works as a member of the field service technician team to provide full services to our customers.

Responsibilities Include

  • Carry out the installation of a long draw beer system that includes all necessary duties from pulling trunk line to balancing the system upon completion.
  • Installation of short draw beer systems such as through the wall or keg box.
  • Install and service glycol units.
  • Have strong technical skills.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure that all installations are managed and completed to the highest possible standards.
  • Effectively manage all equipment to include care, maintenance, and inventory of assigned equipment and tools.
  • Effectively use company equipment including Tablets and Smartphones to create a professional experience for customers.
  • Typical start time is from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. but it is dependent on the project.
  • On-call shift by rotation after your probation period.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Must be 19 years old.
  • General construction, HVAC, plumbing, or similar work.
  • Proven diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Job Description and Responsibilities:
The major duties of this job will involve comprehensive structure, require attention to detail, and must be done correctly and efficiently without constant supervision. At the same time job, some tasks may vary rather than be repetitive and will require a fast pace and basic mechanical aptitude in order to complete work requirements.

 

Responsibilities:
Accurately pour cleaning chemicals into finished goods containers.
Label and palletize finished goods.
Assist and provide hands-on support to the production team.
Pick finished goods and help shipping, particularly during morning .rush hour.
Maintain inventory of incoming, stored, and outgoing goods, as well as current space available.
Resolve discrepancies between orders and goods, such as delays, condition, weight, quality, etc.
Perform general housekeeping tasks within the warehouse and shipping & receiving area.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
General warehouse duties as assigned.

 

Skills & Qualifications:
Good physical ability to move moderately heavy and/or bulky material.

The Territory Sales Representative manages a territory of customers predominantly in the restaurant and bar sector and are responsible for the following: growing sales and retaining existing customers by providing exceptional customer service, gaining new sales through new products and new customers, and providing customers training on food safety and sanitation through high quality surveys and audits.

What you will do:

  • Introduce BBSPro’s range of cleaning products to customers; prepare and update corresponding quotes; make recommendations and help to manage appropriate levels of inventory.
  • Installs and maintains equipment (primarily dish and glasswasher machines) to ensure operating correctly and optimally including, performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on, dish machines and dispensing equipment.
  • Train customers on safe equipment use and proper maintenance procedures.
  • Develop and enhance existing relationships with customers while working independently and maintaining your own schedule.
  • Respond to customer emergency service requests on weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Warewash Service Technician

Our Technicians serve as the face of BBSPro to customers in the Hospitality, Institutional and Industrial space. As a warewash technician, you support our overall sales efforts by providing preventive maintenance, service and repair on commercial laundry, dish machines and dispensing equipment. WareWash Installation

  • Responsible for the project management and coordination of the respective parties (Internal and External) to ensure successful installation of primarily dish and glass machines and associated ancillary equipment.
  • Follow specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings for the installation.

Repair and Preventative Maintenance

  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on commercial laundry, dish machines and dispensing equipment.
  • Assist with the introduction of new products to customers; make recommendations and help to manage appropriate levels of inventory.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by identifying and solving potential issues through suggesting, sampling and providing customer solutions.
  • Demonstrate safe equipment use and ensure that equipment is fully operational.
  • Train customers on equipment and proper maintenance procedures.
  • Respond to customer emergency service requests on weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Perform other functions as necessary.
